JEE Advanced 2021 To Be Held On July 3!

 Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on Thursday(January 7) announced the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2021 examination date and the eligibility criteria for admission into Indian Institutes Of Technology (IITs) .

"JEE Advanced will be conducted by IIT Kharagpur on July 3. The relaxation in admision requirement of 75 per cent marks in class 12 which was announced last year in view of Covid-19 pandemic will be offered this year well", Pokhriyal said.

Many students have also been asking for a third attempt at JEE Advanced. Education Minister however has not made any such announcement. In other words, the mandate of maximum two attempts at JEE Advanced would remain for this year as well.

The number of IIT aspirants this year are expected to exponentially increase as JEE Main 2020 candidates are also allowed to appear for this year's second stage of engineering entrance examination JEE Advanced 2021.

In 2020, JEE Advanced was held on September 27 after being rescheduled due to the Covid-19 outbreak.

The admission process for IIT has undergone changes in line with the changes introduced in the qualifying engineering entrance exam JEE Main 2021 and JEE Advanced 2021. This year JEE Main 2021 will be held four times in February, March, April and May. The dates for the first session of JEE Main 2021 are February 23 to 26. The minister added that the exams are being conducted in 13 languages for the first time.

India becomes fastest country in world to complete over 6 million vaccination

 The world’s biggest inoculation drive began in India on January 16 with two indigenously-manufactured Covid-19 vaccines – Covishield and Covaxin. Even with exporting to needy nations and neighbouring regions, India managed to registered more than 1 million vaccinations within the first six days of the mega drive, becoming the fastest country to do so. GST Collection At All-Time High Since Its Implementation,almost touches Rs.1.20 lakh crore in January 2021

 On the eve of Union Budget 2021, the GST revenue collected for the month of January 2021 has touched nearly Rs 1.20 lakh crore. The tax collection is higher than the December 2020 record, which witnessed an unexpected rise of 11.6 per cent. This is the highest GST revenue the government has collected since the rollout of the Goods and Services Tax regime.
